Bent6 removing headlight switch
 

I installed the lights in the bumper,ordered the dealer install kit. It came with the new switch, and here is how to remove it.
You first pull the knob off then turn it 180 degrees and put it back on then turn it. It acts like a key to pull in the springload clips. Honest it works, was in the instructions for adding the offroad lights.

I have tried pulling on the knob but it feels likes something is going to break. Do you just pull away from the dash while the switch is in the off position?

sorry , turn the switch on, pull it out as to turn on the fog lamps, opposite the pointer mark a small openning , stick in a paperclip, this will release the knob
the target is straight in and is small
the knob comes right off, then put it back on 180 degrees (it will not lock on) then turn the knob to release the switch
