Changing Steering Wheel on 99 F150

Ordered a leather wrapped steering wheel to replace the plain one on my 99 F150. Have never changed one with an air bag. Has anyone done this and can provide some advice?
Thanks in advance!

I'm thinking disconnecting the battery is a given.

If I remember correctly, the Haynes manual had a pretty good write up about removing the steering wheel. I think it also had the "unhook battery" in uppercase letters!!! It also said something about waiting for a certain period of time. Sorry I couldn't be more help. BTW, I checked out the Haynes manual from my local library. I know, it's only $15 bucks but...

How much did you pay for the leather wrapped wheel and were did you get it? I got jipped, my '97 Lariat didn't come with one.

KKIR1,

Thanks for the info. I ordered the wheel from the local dealer I bought the truck from. It is a black, leather wrapped, with the cruise control. The wheel list for $133.33, I paid $120. The Ford part # is F75Z-3600-AAB.
