'98 3rd Door wind noise

I own a '98 Supercab (3rd door). It seems whenever I'm in the wind, the door leaks air, and I get the most annoying wind noise. Any suggestions out there to cure this?

I have the same problem. I think adjusting the door latch so the door holds closed tighter will seal it. I have the problem whenever there is a cross wind blowing from the oposite side.

door latch adjustment

How do you adjust the door latch? Do you just loosen and move the bolts on the catch?

We have a 99 super cab and in a cross wind, the noise drives my wife crazy. Have you figured out a fix yet?

Peace, Dennis

OK, I'll admit I have no clue what he did......

but a body shop that worked on my truck and, as of now, am throughly impressed with DID adjust my 3rd door by
adjusting my door with a wrench and a $50.00 bill. (don't think a $1.00 bill would've made any difference but here goes)
He slipped the bill between the weather stripping on the door and the door/body and checked for tightness, like a feeler guage. Meaning he closed the door on the bill and pulled it out to see/feel the drag (and/or tightness).
He got rid of the wind noise in seconds flat and throughly impressed me in the processs
Just my 2 cents!

How did your guy adjust the door? Was it the lower catch?
