Lightning headlights for my 2001 XLT

I want to replace my stock headlights on my 2000 XLT with Lightning headlights. Ford wants 325 for each side. Bahahahah

I do not want crap replacements but I do want aftermarket lights that are reasonably priced and good quality. Thinking 100 bucks for each side?

Any suggestions where to start looking?

Buy the real thing from a wholesale Ford parts house.

https://www.tascaparts.com/auto-part...omponents-scat

Part # Description List Price Price
3L3Z-13008-FA Composite Headlamp
F150; LEFT; W/ LIGHTNING
$326.40 $217.38

Part # Description List Price Price
3L3Z-13008-EA Composite Headlamp
F150; RIGHT; W/ LIGHTNING
$325.60 $216.85

Put those part numbers into Google and see if you can find them even cheaper.

I may have to end up doing just that. Thanks glc

I found these copies that come with a 1 year warranty.

Just my opinion, aftermarket lights don't ever fit right on a 10th Gen

There is the exact set on Amazon for 47.00. I ordered those. If I have to toss them in the trash not much will be lost. Check out the reviews.

Got the lights delivered yesterday. They were well packed and look great. I will be installing them in a few days. If they hold up like my inexpensive after market Depo fog lights, I will be more than happy. Those fog lights are fantastic for the cost. I have had them a few years now and they throw great light and the lenses remained clear.

My title says 2001 but I have a 2000. Lights are for a 2001 Lightning. The 2000 Lightning had the same lights as the 2000 XLT.

Here they are. I am very happy with them. Test of time is next but for the price how can you go wrong. Less than 50 bucks for 4 pieces.

I reused the original screw clips on the corner lights and used my own bulbs in the headlights even though the headlight bulbs are included. I bought new amber bulbs for the corners since I had it apart and those are not included. They were a little tricky to line up and install but no real issues. Going to check alignment some night when I get a chance.
