Can someone name what brand LED's these are??

A friend of mine gave these to me after he bought them and realized they didn't fit his 02 GMC. He doesn't remember the brand, but said they were close to $200. Anyone have any ideas? I want to put them in my mom's '16 F 150.https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...e77f251f67.jpghttps://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...38499dcadf.jpg

Also I'm curious which way the led a should be in the headlight housings?? There are bulbs on both sides. Anyone?

since a 2016 uses an H11 bulb I suspect it should work in the vehicle. It also should only go in one way since there are tabs at the base with different shapes limiting which direction it will fit.
Good luck

There is a tiny little Alan screw that you can loosen up and rotate the bulb however you want. From what I have read, you want the LED's aiming side to side, not up and down. Supposedly the cut off and projection is best that way. I'll find out here in a couple hours if these things are worth a **** or not.

I guess on the bright side if they suck like the last ones I tried a few years ago, I'm only out my own personal time. And being as I don't watch football I don't really care 😉

Well I am still unsure what brand LED's these are, but here is the output. Next is to order the Morimoto led fog light replacements. I sure hope they're worth $200...https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...ce2ab2b0cb.jpg

Output doesn't look horrible, but need to see a picture from further back. About 20' and I'll PM you on the LED fogs.

I will get more pictures later this week when I get the Morimoto fog lights in and the HIR halogen high beam bulbs installed 😎

The right side is higher than the left side. Might want to fine tune the aiming.

Isn't that how you want them to help with on coming cars?? By that I mean not blind them as bad...

What you want best is both lights to have a 2.5" drop at 25'. That'll get you close to where you need to be. And if it seems you're to high into people's eyes you can lower them a little.

2stroked 02-07-2017 07:21 PM

^^ What he said. Both lights should be aimed at the same level.

ex400rocks 02-08-2017 05:36 AM

What do you mean by "2.5" drop?"

As in back up 25' from the wall, and lower both beams 2.5" from where the factory had them set?

Patman 02-08-2017 07:21 PM

As in the beam height on a wall should be 2.5" lower than its original source height
