Suggestions for rear back up lights and HID fog lights up front?

I back up my driveway at night and would like to illuminate it well. Does anyone have a suggestion that will work with my new 2013 f150 fx4?

I also would like to replace the fogs in the front lower bumper, with HID units. Is there a reputable direct fit aftermarket set out there?

PS obligatory pic of truck

If that does not help,

They do make rebased HIDS for your fogs but I suggest not just slapping them in there and going. You will probably burn the reflector bowl and there is a good chance you could blind on coming traffic with glare. If you really want HIDs you can retro a morimoto matchbox projector in there that uses HIDs without producing glare.
Sorry no help on the reverse lights tho don't have much experience there.

Also i really like the look of your truck.

its not a good idea to put hids in a stock halogen reflector bowl...the cause glare and hot spots...and are really crappy in the rain...

now for the reverse lights....go get a cheap pair of fog lights from wally world mount them some where in the under the back of the truck and tap the stock reverse light wire to trigger a relay to get them on....

If you go with a retro from TRS with the matchbox projector they won't be cheap.. You won't find good aftermarket fog lights that have projectors unless you make your own

I just had tux do a set of projectors for me and also had him do my fog with the matchbox projectors in them. Ill post a pic later. But for my reverse lights, I added a set of PIAA lights under my bumper and have them controlled so that when I put it in reverse it triggers the relay for the piaa's. I also swapped out my reverse bulbs for some LED's which helped.

Spyder doesn't make good headlights/fog lights they usually have poor output. Since they are tinted that will also hinder output. Put to answer your question no i don't have experience with that particular light.

Ah, I see i wonder what dimensions ours are I will have to measure them. Hella seems to have 52, 60,80 and 90mm projector lamps available.

Hella I believe do have good projectors. Only ones I read about are High beam ones like the 80 or 90mm tho and they are halogen projectors.

Why so reluctant to use Matchbox or blazer or fusion projectors?

Here are the specs of the Matchbox projectors if you want a size to go by. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...ducts_id=18725

Hella Micro DE fog projector is also a good fog projector. And here is a link for how to convert to HIDs. http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/show...(56k-big-no-no)

Spyder is a joke and is meant to appeal to 16 year olds with Hondas. If you want any sort of quality, you're going to spend a little more than a C-note.
