Interior/Exterior LED lights installed PICS

Swapped out my Interior map and dome lights and my exterior cargo and license plate lights with some 6K LEDs from V-leds.com and Superbrightleds.com.

Huge improvement. Should have done this mod the first week I had my truck. The light is so much brighter and cleaner. Just makes my interior look classier I think. Makes the outside look more modern too. They match my 6k HID heads and fogs good. I will be doing brake lights and turn signals next.

Here is what I ordered from V-led for the license plate, map and dome.
1 2 HID WHITE 6 ANGLED LED FLANK BULBS 194 168 158

1 2 V-LEDS 6K WHITE 194 13 LED LIGHT BULBS 158 168 2825

3 HID 6K WHITE HIGH POWER 4 LED FESTOON DOME BULB 211 212 6413 6429 578

This is what I ordered from superbrightleds for the cargo lights.
2 | 921-x12: Wedge Base LED bulb 921-CW12: Cool White

Tried to take some pics but I was messing with the exposure on the camera trying to figure how to show the light and not use a flash without the pic turning out dark. These are the ones that I took. You can see the incandescent light in my garage from my house lights and see the difference between it and the LED light.

Here are comparison pics from another member who has the same lights and interior and obviously has better camera skills than me. These show the difference between incandescent and led really well.

Its pretty simple. Find a bulb replacement guide (sylvania should have the new models by now) and just buy replacements

Why did you order the cargo lights from a different place? I was just curious because I just bought my cargo light led's from vleds but I haven't put them in yet.

Sylvania has a bulb guide but if you have the SCREW with no sunroof then you need exactly what I posted in my first post. Two map (194), 3 dome (211). If you want to do the outside then you need two cargo (921) and two license plate (194 angled).

When I ordered my lights last Friday V-leds were out of the cargo (921) in the 6k so I just ordered them from Superbrightleds. V-led had them in stock the next day. They match perfect so it was no problem and the ones from Superbrightleds were actually cheaper. I think the quality of the V-leds is better though. Just by looking at the bulbs before I installed them.

All of the following pertains to the 2009-2010 SCREW with no sunroof.

I bought one pack of these, two bulbs, for the maps up front. (194)
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...-p6638587.html

Three packs of these, three bulbs, for all three rear lamps. They all use the same. (211)
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...-p8200027.html

One pack of these, two bulbs, for the license plate lights. (194 angled flank)
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...-p6691894.html

One pack of these, two bulbs, cool white, for the cargo lights. I bought them from superbrightleds because V-leds was out of stock at the time. They are in stock again now. (921)
http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...%2F921-x12.htm

If you want to buy all of them from V-leds you could also use these for the cargo. They are back in stock now. They are pretty expensive and the ones I posted from superbrightleds work fine for much less money. These would provide you more light than the superbrightleds I posted though. (921)
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED-B...26829-1-2.html

EDIT- I now know that the 2011 SCREW with sunroof has only two map lights (194) up front and only one bulb in the rear dome (211).

Hi guys,
so ive been wanting to convert all of my hvac controls/speedo gauge clusters to blue so they will match the other blue i already have going on inside. I can figure out the gauge cluster but the hvac controls are giving me more trouble, even though ive heard that's the easy part.. i took the whole console completely apart down to the green switchboard and i cant find any bulbs? is is just a green overlay thats emitting that colored light or are the bulbs actually green? any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

There is a light source in there for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if they are LEDs but I doubt it. More likely small 37-based incandescents.

Do you know if your part numbers are the same for my 04? I have the same two map lights up front and three lights in the back on my screw without the sunroof. I know I could go check I just didn't know if you knew if your bulb count and sizes would work as well. I'm pretty sure are cargo lamps are the same as well though.

Yes the part #s and counts I listed are the exact same for you because you have the 2 lights up front and 3 lights in the rear. It is different for those with sunroofs and those with regular cabs. Yours require the exact same as mine. You need 1 pack, 2 bulbs, (194), from my first link and 3 packs, 3 bulbs, (211), from my second link. You will probably have to pinch the tabs that hold the lights in place together a little bit to get them to hold the 211s tightly. That is what we all had to do. I am basing all of this off the research I did in the 04-08 led interior thread. You can do more research if you don't trust mine. Here is the link, all 52 pages of it.
