Pro comp sel-series led light bar

I need some help guys, im thinking about putting in one of the pro comp LED light bars. Specifically the 12 inch 9 light:

Done anybody know more about these things? How do they look? How bright are they? Seen them in action? Are they worth the price?

Would really appreciate any info y'all could throw my way.

Thanks

I haven't ever seen the pro comp led bars, but the ones made by rigid are super bright. The led bars are good because they can be hidden easily and have great outputs. It doesn't show the lumen output of the lights, but pro comp makes good products so I would think that they are good lights. With led light bars, they are all going to be expensive, but the pro comps are going to cost less than some of the higher end companies like Rigid. For just a little more you could get two sets of PIAAs or KC lights.

Cree is a fantastic LED. Their 3W model puts out approximately 150-200lm each. Looking at the optics they used, its a combination of fog and driving light pattern. So thats 900 lumens going down the sides and 450 going straight forward. Not a bad deal. I can't speak for ProComp, but a Cree LED will never fail on you.

Now I can't post this without saying, if you are somewhat technologically inclined, you could build a light bar like this (sans the cool housing) for about 1/2 the cost. Very unlikely to happen, but just saying.

That's for the 9 light setup? and how bright is that exactly? am i gonna get what i pay for?

total lumen output will be between 1350 and 1700 lumens. Three are driving pattern optics, and the 6 exterior ones are fog lamp optics. So yeah, that seems like a good deal to me.
