Look at the GE Nighthawks or Philips Xtreme Vision.

Thanks, I will do that!

I can find the GE Nighthawks but not able to find where to buy the Philips Xtreme Vision (online). Will have to check the local auto parts store too.

Yeah, I didn't notice that because I don't need an H13. Its too bad, I really like them. I guess us guys with older rides luck out here. They appear very new so maybe they'll expand the line?

Happy 4th everyone!!

Thanks for the link! I could find the Xtreme Power ones, just not the Xtreme Vision ones in H13. They are apparently a pretty new bulb.

First upgrade I did. This site is one of the best ones out there for good info on automotive lighting. Powerbulbs in the UK is another site I use as there seems to be no duty when they ship to Canada .... I have the Xtreme Power which is GREAT!!!

I was talking about the solux bulbs I run with. They come in most popular numbers but not in the H13/9008 that the newer F-Series take. If you have an older F-Series, you should have the solux option.

Ive been using them in my F150 for about two years and haven't had any problems. I would however comment that for light output, they are still substandard. I am going to upgrade to HID.

I kind of get the feeling you will be doing the same thing in the not to distant future.

Based off my experience so far, I don't think so. Plus, I simply don't like to mess with factory engineering too much... Anyway, I'll keep you posted but seriously, I really like my set-up now. I'll keep you posted.

Just a follow-up... I've had the SOLUX lamps installed and turned on 100% of the time I drive (day and night). I have not seen any dropoff and did not experience failure during the cold months. They're about 9+ months old.
