A/C recirc issue

Hi all, browsed bit but didnt see anything like my issue, what i have (i believe) is the door or flap, or whatever it is that opens/ closes for fresh air make up or recirc is stuck in an open position, i am constantly getting smells of whatever im driving near and today whilst doing an early morning drive with no ac on, i could feel air blowing in the vents, not fan driven, more wind driven, any clues where to start looking???? When i hit the recirc switch in normal ac mode the light goes on or off, whichever i decide, and when i go to max ac it comes on as its supposed to.

It's probably the servo motor. I would take a look at replacing that.

Looks like the issue is a linkage problem of some sort. I can watch the door move, and will close nicle and tight when i turn off the recirc, but whwn turning it on, the door opens nicely, then all of a sudden just droops..... anyone had this happen?
