lack of ac cooling
2005 f150 4.6 engine. ac line past fixed orifice is very cold while high pressure line is very hot. Is this normal?
|
Gradual loss of "cooling" performance?
Intermittent? Still have fam speeds/airflow? Mode door (defrost / vent / floor) all work correctly? Manual AC head (3 knobs) or Digital head (Lots of buttons) |
Combined and deleted your other threads, one thread per subject please......
|
manual ac. replaced compressor, flushed out lines, evacuated & recharged system.

Did you replace the dryer/reservoir? What are the pressures on what temperature day? Could hot water be going through the heater?
|
If it was intermittent I'd say look at the blend door behind the radio (known issue)

This thread is one of the worst cases of a Thread Hijack I have ever seen. Even the moderator was participating in it.
If the pressures are within specs then I would say it's a blend door problem. |
