Compressor Issue

Hey guys my A/C was funny all summer after getting it recharged it only worked for 2 days. Now that it is winter ive been noticing a bad noice from my engine bay and it sounds like the ac is on inside the truck even when it is off. Now when driving the truck when the RPMs drop low like making a turn or stopping at a red light the truck will die. I believe the AC bearing is out or possibly the whole compressor. What do you guys think and is it possible for me to replace the compressor myself? Thanks

If you have to ask if WE think you can replace a compressor, then you probably can't...

There are things you have to know before jumping into that job. If you don't know them or what they are, you either need to learn them or you should defer the diagnosis and repair to someone who knows what they are doing.
