Post A/C clutch problem...

This morning, the A/C clutch on my 97 started sticking and making a sort of slapping noise when doing so. Anyone else ever have this problem? If so, what did it take (and cost) to repair it?

Thanks.

Mine has started doing the same thing. I suspect my freon level is too low because It has taken a bit longer to cool down lately.

It could also be a low pressure switch (cycle switch) whitch prevents the compressor from running with low freon.

I would have put in a can in mine this morning but left my wallet at home (doh!!)

Good luck.
