Post Compressor Cycles

I did a scan of topics and didn’t see anything like this question. The A/C compressor cycles too often in my opinion. In normal stop and go traffic it disengages with moderate to light acceleration. It engages when I lift my foot off the gas. Even while sitting in neutral and revving to 1200 RPM and then releasing it will cycle. This seems way too sensitive to me.

Took it to the dealer this morning to get it checked. Just got a call back and guess what they said…..”That’s the way it’s suppose to work”.

Is this correct? Is the sensitivity adjustable? Can I bypass cutoff switch?

Thanks for your comments,
Craig
