AC Not Working
Talk about ironic... I was going to the dealer to pick up some parts for my 30K service. On the way there, my AC quit working. I hav an appointment for tomorrow and I will post back with the outcome. This is a 98 F-150 w/ the 5.4L and 29500 miles. The compressor cycles on for 2 seconds, and off for 5 seconds.....

Even though My truck is of the older generation. I have a 93 F-150 with a 302/auto, and it has 88k. My ac was doing the same exact thing, I thought the freon was down. I took it in and they replaced the cycle switch and it ran perfect for awile, then it started acting up again and eventually quit. The shop replaced the switch again at no charge and it hasn't given me a lick of trouble. I am not sure if it would be the same on a 5.4l, but I am sure it would have the switch
