2011 Factory Navigation replacement to android radio?

I'm having some serious difficulty trying to figure out what to do with my radio situation.

I have a 2011 Platinum with the early Ford MySync navigation unit, which SUCKS. Originally I had planned on swapping it out for a large screen aftermarket android navigation unit, like one of these:

The problem is, I dont think that I can. I have a platinum, so the hvac controls and seat heater control and all that go through the factory nav. I wouldnt mind losing it to gain the android radio, but I dont think its as simple as swapping to that unit due to the wiring harness and modules that control those features.

So now I'm lost. I use waze and spotify daily in my other vehicles. So far the best idea I have is using the costal air lockpick to wirelessly mirror my phone screen to the unit... but that sucks because obviously the touch controls arent mirrored. and youd have to use your phone for EVERYTHING.

Anyone have ANY other solutions?

I've been wondering the same thing and I came across a module that lets you use sync with an aftermarket head unit. It's called a idatalink maestro rr. It's supposed to be able to take all the inputs for steering wheel controls and all sync inputs. The HVAC controls is my concern as well. I have a 2011 King Ranch, and never did like the MySync.

Right - so here is the problem with that.

maestro rr only works with name brand nav units. and none of the units they support are bigger than 7". Im not going down in screen size, that just looks silly. That and zero of the name brand units are android devices, which means at best they have android auto, and youd have to mirror your screen or disable your phone, which takes away from having a full screen waze or spotify. ****s garbage. i wish the OEM nav wasnt the only goddamn way to control the fan selector and id go backwards to get one of the super nice huge screen china android units.

Oh yeah - and theres no solution to use the OEM reverse camera on these units! So your OEM reverse camera is worthless then too!
