I have a 02' Navigator with 130k miles. Factory radio was working fine when the vehicle was shut off and then the next day nothing. I have checked the fuses and the relays and they are good.

I pulled the radio to get the numbers off of the unit and then ordered a "tested" unit that has the exact same part numbers for a perfect match. Plugged everything in and it too will not work lke the other one.

So now I know that there is something else other than the head units themselves but I am lost as to where else to check.

Can someone please give me some ideas as to where to check to find an answer for a factory radio not working in a Navigator?

power, power, power, need to pull the fuses, along with make sure your checking all the fuses for the radio!!!!

make sure you got power at the plug????

 

check with dealer. they may have to unlock the new unit? Not sure on 02 if that was an issue, it is for 2011...
