Equalizer Problems

Well today I unhooked my battery to clean it, and after hooking it back up I came to find out it cleared the equalizer settings on my Pioneer 4400BH (just my luck). I have tried to play with the equalizer the best I can but I just cannot get the same sound it was putting out at first. I would auto-equalize it but the head unit for some reason wont allow me to do that.. So basically I am asking if anyone knows of a good 8 band equalizer curve that I could use to enhance the sound from what I have now.

I would think you should have some presets on the radio for EQ. Also should be a custom setting too. At least there is on my single din sony. custom user define.

All depends on what your speaker setup delivers. With all factory, I would bump the highs (last 3 sliders) up for more clarity, and bump the very low (first two sliders) slightly up for bottom end. If you replaced your stock speakers, and only added tweeters, go with more of a bottom heavy curve to compensate for overpowering highs. My system has overpowering lows, so my 8 channel eq goes from +2 on the first slider, stepped down to level on the 3rd slider, then stepped back up to max from #3 to #8 (mid to high) to compensate for underpowered highs. It's all based on your system components and your personal taste.
