2010 Sync unit
2010 Sync unit
Hi,
I am replacing my door speakers and keeping the head unit (with Sync). The head unit does not have the navigation screen but does offer the sync controls. My question is this...I got the replacment speakers and what looks like a Ford speaker wire adapter for the aftermarket speakers. I thought I could just run a line out converter off these to an amp. Has anyone else done this with no issues? I talked a local car audio store and they were saying that the sync unit may not send all frequencies once I connect the LOC's? DOes that sound right? I thought this would be a simple replacement, but now I have my doubts. Has anyone else replaced their door speakers, ran a LOC to an amp using the stock head unit with Sync?
