Okay before everyone jumps on my ***, i have a 2.5 hr trip next week that im taking with my gf to see the University of Florida game. I want to be able to let her watch a movie along the way.

Currently i CAN bypass it while drive down the road if i put my E-brake on just a tad, enough so the light shows up. Problem is then i cant put on my cruise. The E-brake is the only thing i have connected that detects the weather the vehicle is moving or not. I dont have the speedo hooked up because i have a Programmer that shows my mph and a big speedo on my dash.

So can i take that wire that hooks up to the ebrake, to the power line, and hook it to some other power line, say the main power for the HU. Wouldnt that fool it into thinking the vehicle always has the Ebrake on?
