Need Input and Advice

First off i have a 2005 Ext cab without factory sub. Last night i was given a brand new pioneer avh-p7500dvd hu. I lucked out because i was told it was around 1300-1500 new. I went down to best buy today and bought the XM pioneer module for it and was going to have them install it BUT they want almost 200 bucks for it. I said no thanks. I've installed simple decks before but nothing this complicated.
I plan on running the XM antenna through the 3rd brake like, most likely.

Where does everyone mount the brain boxes?
Is there a write up for something similar for installation?
This deck plays DVDs...how do i bypass it where I can play dvd's while in gear?
Any tips and hints would be appreciated.

Bypass - pick up a relay from a shop or auto parts store
85 - Ground
86 - Remote from HU
87 - Pk. Brake wire
30 - Ground

Could do the back wall or underneath the radio.

SOrry if this seems like a ignorant question, but how exactly is the wiring for the relay done?

I put the brain for the xm unit in the dash below the radio. Secured with some double stick tape and its good to go.
