I recently replaced my HU on my 06 lariat. I noticed a wire harness that was cliped to a panel behind the unit, but not hooked up. Looks like it it was prewired in case something was added later. Anyone know what this is for? Thanks

 

A picture would help! How many wires, color? Maybe a plug for the optional Sirius tuner?

 

If it was the 8 pin plug its for the subwoofer in the audiophile system, that you wouldnt have. Or if its the 14 pin plug its for Can Hi and Can low controlled devices (aux-in, sirius, overhead monitor, etc.)

 

Unfortunately I didn't get a pic when I had it out. I already have the Sirius tuner and sub hooked up. I am assuming this harness is for a rear DVD system?
