hi i was wondering if anybody knew, if a h/u model #7R3T-18C869-MC could be used in a '05 FX4 w/ a single cd/cassette? i think it's out of a '07 xlt, single cd/mp3. thanks guys. can anybody help, i think i may have spend $150 of somebody else's money.

 

 

It will work, you'll just have to buy an antenna adapter. The 07s and up use a different antenna connector than the 04s-06s.

 

well, you see the thing is i put it in my truck 04 lariat 6disk, and the steering wheel controls didn't work and the buttons didn't light up. only the display so i thought that was weird.
