Wiring help

hey so i have a alpine w205

i have installed it and all but to get my dvd system to work i need to run wires from the HU to my park break lead and foot break lead or something .
has anyone done this and if so what wires and what color of wires and where are these wire ????
i got a 04 f150 (newbodystyle)

what hu bypass it so you can always run a dvd and you wont need the wire hooked up

There is two ways to do this-

1. Go find and buy and PAC-TR7..best/easiest

2. Get two switches and hook them up like this...

yellow/blue stripe to ground...yellow/black to 12v switched-

is there wires in my vehicle i can just wire clamp to ?

first of all try just grounding the wires that are supposed to go to the park brake etc.

worked when i did it in my jeep

Not on a Alpine, it needs a Negative and a Postative switch..

A PAC TR7 will be your best friend here. Will run you about 15-30 bucks.

With the PAC-TR7, you can do it with just one switch.

I used 1 switch without the PAC.
