Aux Input

I have a remote sirius radio and I would like to put it into the Aux input of my 2004 factory unit it is the the one with the subwoofer. I pulled the radio out and found all the jack were full. Can someone tell me were how do I get into the Aux input or if a 2004 F150 with the 6CD and subwoofer can just get a tuner attached.

I just recently traded my '04 STX for a new '07 XLT Screw.

When my '04 STX was still new, the service manager at the dealer where I bought it told me that there were no Auxiliary option on the factory system on the '04 Ford trucks.

Some how the designers got ahead of themselves and all of the actual full functions of the radios would not work until following model years.

I don't know what year the auxiliary option finally were working but it is functional on my new '07 with an auxiliary plug-in on top of the dash near the accessory tray.

The Sirius Sportster that I have will transmit directly into the factory radio. There should be a short wire antenna that came with your Sirius radio. I use this setup on my '04 STX for about 3 -1/2 years. All you have to do is find a place to mount the Sirius unit.

If your head unit has an AUX input, then you can use a FRD04-AUX adapter (costs about $80). The AUX input was designed to be used with the factory DVD Intertainment system.
