I need help
Yeah it's a pain in the a$$. I've replaced mine twice (made the mistake of replacing my original unit with another stock unit. I'm currntly on my third and it is already malfunctioning).
Just make sure you push the tools all the way in until they snap into place. Then pull them both outward away from each other and pull out firmly. You have to be gentle and firm at the same time (if that makes sense). It should slide out, but make sure the little skinny bar that separates the Head Unit from the A/C controls is not preventing the unit from sliding out. Just push down on it gently to move it out of the way.
It helps if you have someone help you in the passenger seat, too. That way one person can push down on the little bar while the other pulls the radio out.
Good luck.
