I would probably buy another Pioneer just because I really like their other than DVD head units. Shoot I'd sell you my rarely used, near mint condition, still under warranty, Pioneer DEH-P7800MP for like $250 if I wasn't leaving in 3 days. Pulled it when I caught the DVD bug.

I am a big fan of this HU. Picking an HU these days is really dependant on what features you are looking for. Do you want an iPod interface? Are you running amps? If so, perhaps some higher voltage in the pre-outs might be important. You already said that Nav is not that big a deal. What about Bluetooth for the mobile phone? Just some things to consider. Also some things that people would probably like to know so that they can make a recommendation.

That's the one I have and plan to get rid of. I really like the unit, great features and awesome sound. if my wifes truck didn't have the factory 6 disk changer it would go in her truck.

Thumbs up

This is the HU I got from car domain.com, Eclipse CD5000, for $279.95. This is the best price around on this HU. $500+ everywhere else! 8v pre outs, very nice. Oh, it came with all the wiring harnesses, the install kit, and free shipping! The total price was $279.95, and I had it in 5 days!
