CD Burning

ive posted this before but got no help. i burn cd;s for my 6 disc OEM head unit. and none of them play says "Bad Disc" and they are brand new cd's. one burnt cd works and i got it from my friend and i have the EXACT same cd's. they are TDK CD-R's none of them work. ive tried burning them in napster, in iTunes, and windows media player and none of them will work

so what am i doing wrong or how do i need to burn them?

My friend has had this problem too. Have you tried using a CD that is CD-RW? just a thought...

yeah....before these cd's i had some of them and they didnt work...i could try again though and find out.

just have to find one aorund my room somewhere.

but its weird that im using the SAME cd's my friend does and mine wont play :-/

no but im saying i have his CD like he gave me it and it will play in my head unit. but when i burn cd's using the same discs he used they wont play.

try burning at a slower speed.

52x speed more or less blurs the info on there, and older cd players need the info to be clean and neat, try burning at a 32x max, or maybe around 26x.

If that doesnt help idk maybe its time to step up into a new HU

Wow that's really strange! Then the only thing I could think of would be th OS you use to burn the CD's, but still that shouldn't have anything to do with the unit not being able to read it. If you have used the CD-RW and it still does not work, I have absolutely know idea what could be making it read a bad disk! Sry, Good Luck Man

Burn your cd's as a data cd not a music cd. works in my audophile mp3

i heard the data disk burn may have it work im going to try that right now if it doesnt work i will try a slower speed burning.

thanks for the help guys ill llet you know how it turns out.

If the deck doesnt play Mp3's burning as a data cd, will do nothing productive.
If it does, then yeah i would recomend it b.c its badass to have like 10 or 12 albums worth of music on one disc.

well data disc works! and i jsut made a cd with 45 songs on it doing it i love it! haha. and having a 6 disc changer....i can have lik 225 songs!! haha. perfect for my sound system thats going in.

you can put alot more than just 45 songs on a data cd, ive made some with up to 200
