I just had an Eclipse single din head unit installed at Circuit City and I have a couple of questions about it.
1.) the unit doesnt sit flush in the installation kit. It sits back about a 1/4 inch. Is this normal?
2.) some of the lights on the radio only come on if i turn my head lights on and they flash if I dim my interior lights. Is this normal?

Any info would be appreciated.
I think I am going to have to take it back to Circuit City and have them correct it or refund me. What do you guys think?

On most aftermarket dash kits, the deck will sit recessed a little, it is normal. However, you need to disconnect the dimmer wire from the deck. they are normally orange but it should say what the wire is on the harness adapter. in some cases I have seen 2 wires the were for illumination.

P.S. Don't go back to Circuit City for intalls.
