Exclamation Gaps Between Tracks / Continuous Play CD

Hey all, I'm new to the board. I purchased an '06 Screw FX4 with the Audiophile system, 6-disc, satellite. I've read other posts but I hadn't seen a reply relatively close to now so I thought I'd repost and see if others with '06 models are still having this issue.

When playing continuous play CD's (such as a concert CD as mentioned in another thread) and there are to be no interruptions in play when the player moves to the next track, is anyone getting the 1 second gap between play? Is this a defect? Normal for the HU? or is there a fix/patch to correct it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same problem with my '06 Harley Davidson. Annoying. It also clips the first second off of MP3's.

It's normal

This is normal operation for the Ford HU. It did it in my 05 Mustang GT Shaker 1000 and 06 Lariat Screw Audiophile. It was very annoying. I changed out both with Eclipse AVN5495 DVD/NAV units.
