Thumbs down That sux!

Well I hate to see sh*t like this happen. My question for all of you folks living in the NYC/NJ/Ct. area is WHY?...why do you live in such a sh*tty place? Don't you realize that that place is the pimple in the armpit of progress? Sell your homes, move away and enjoy life. I have a friend that lived there and sold his house to get away from all that. With what he made on his house, he came to Florida, bought a really nice house(cash), a very nice new speed boat(cash), a new Harley SuperGlide(cash) and retired....just off the money from his house. The cost of living outside of that area is sooo much lower. The stress, insurance, traffic, and scumbags that haunt that whole area is pathetic. I just can't understand what it is that makes people want to live in such a horrible place. Say whatever you want, the bottom line is, when you live in a toilet, things get sh*tty. I'm not saying that crime doesn't happen elsewhere in the US , but to raise a family/live in such a place makes no sense to me.

BTW I am a transplant from the NE too....

I used to live in one of the prestige areas of San Antonio, TX -- beautiful home, pool, etc. etc. etc. But, there came a time I decided to give it up and move to a better and safer place. I had my black gorgeous Oldsmobile smashed up and broken into at North Star Mall, and I finally just decided the h*ll with it and moved.

Now I live in the Midwest with 5 acres, peace and quite, safety, nice people and a lake home. The cost of living is much less. It sometimes just isn't worth it to live in the cities anymore if you can afford to get out.

Good luck, guy. It makes me sick to see the pictures.

Arrow Time for an alarm!

Man that really sucks! I've had my truck for all of 2 months and Im always worried about that happening! Im going to buy one of the alarm systems that comes with a 2 way pager with a picture of a car on it. You can remote start, as well as see whats going on with your truck...$500 intalled but only $150 on Ebay...well worth it man!

1st, sorry to hear about your situation. That is the reason why I have kept my stock radio. It is unfortunate that you can’t have anything nice without !$@$@%!^’s touching it.

The part that's really bad is that this crap happens in a parkinglot for a restraunt that probably has windows. Don't people notice someone smashing a window out of a vehicle?! The world would be alot better place if the honest people in the world would loose the "it's not my problem" attitude and call the cops when they see stuff like this going on. As for the idea of moving, I can't agree as this didn't happen at his home it happened when he went out to eat! Even if you live out in the country you still would drive into a city to go out to eat. I'm not saying that the crime rate wouldn't be different in a different area, just things like this happen even in better areas, just at a lower rate of occurance. Sorry to see the damage.

i couldnt agree with you more.it seems odd that with all those people there not one saw anything or would even help? find that hard to believe.i dont care what type of vehicle it is.if i see some "maggot"busting in someone vehicle im letting someone know.as for living out in the country as being safe? eh thats debatable(IMHO)!!!
