man, that sucks. i have a kr, and i live in hollywood, not too far away from you. i really feel horrible, and it sounds that you're pretty calm about it. if i found my truck like that in the morning, i would go on a rampage-ha-sorry to say. anyways, i hope insurance picks it up, and good luck to you. i hate jealous a**holes that can't earn an honest living!! what gives them the right!!

Do your part to stop crime!

Brands306, I'm sorry to hear this but please edit your post and don't say how they broke in. Don't want to give anyone any ideas.

Everyone else, don't buy parts on the black market. If it sounds too good to be true (price on rims), DVD's, etc, then it is too good to be true.

Report people who try to sell you stolen goods. We can chip away at this problem by only doing legit business with legit people.

If there is no demand for stolen parts, then there will be less stolen parts. Again, sorry Brands306 and hope you get back on the road soon.

Question brands 306

Be sure to install a hood and tilt sensor on your alarm system

I just installed a full alarm with outside senors and 5 armed led
lites
3 lites in inside and 2 in third break lite with alternating sequence
lites up like a disaster area which could bring too much attention to the truck but it shows armed system to all
Possible insurance breaks also

for what it is worth

wow, i posted to ya in the other site, but ouch, that really sucks. I wish you the best of luck in getting everything fixed and i hope you catch those no good bastards! And you said you had wheel locks also And it looks like you're in a pretty populated area! So sorry to hear about your misfortune

this is like the 5th or 6th time somebody posted of their rims being jacked from florida!

about how much does a good alarm system with tilt sensors and all that cost?

yea, i got an alarm system installed the week i got my truck. even though i dont have those hd rims, i thought it would be a good idea, given the fact that the ford keyless entry didnt do *****. And a week after i got the alarm installed, i got an air horn installed. i can hear it from 1/4 mile away. it's so loud!! definately better than the little siren the alarm gives you.

First question is, did the idiots break into the truck through the window or did they have the door code cracked?

Did you have the wheel locks on the rims or did they get that when they broke into the truck?

Soory about your loss dude!

Lets keep the how they broke in off the posts to not give people ideas.

However, to better protect our trucks, lets tell each other about alarm features.

I'm sure this site is full of criminals wanting this knowledge. Hell, I'll just do a search on Google to get that information. (sarcasm)

Sorry to hear about your boosted rims, I had an old beater and that was boosted for the rims so I kinda know how you feel, but it's all the inconvienence thay goes with it, and as for the *******s of neighbours you got not to have the courtsey to knock on the door man they aint worth sh*t. A wise man once said "treat others the way you want to be treated , untill they treat you diffrent, and then treat them accordingly " never a truer word said. as hell hope it all turns out ok
