Talking Look whats sitting on my kitchen floor!!!!

OMG! I finally got it! I've been wanting to get it since day one when i got the truck, but kept running out of spare cash, or something would come up, but i finally ordered the hood when i left for vacation 2 weeks ago, and picked it up today. Now i'm going crazy here waiting to get it painted. The guy up in town will do it for 200 but i'd have to wait over a month! I wanna get it done for my hometown show at the end of september. I'll have to call around a little more.

Question

South Jersey?
It's obvious to me from the pic, that's West Jersey.

Congrats on the hood purchase there harley. You remind me of my kids when we go to the candy store. Oh by the way, if I bring my hood home and put it in my kitchen. I'd be sleeping outside with the dog.

If the pic had been upsidedown then South Jersey would have been completely understandable.

well went to a few body shops today. Cheapest i can find for a good paint job is around 200. I'll probably put the hood on sometime before this weekend, leave it on for 5 days or so, and then take it in for paint. I can't wait

Josh...

Be careful on the paint job...just because it's the cheapest doesn't mean it's the best - I got quoted for a paint shop and some were half the price but I went with the accredited company and the results were perfect. The quality of the paint and paint room can be a world of difference. Good luck! - And be sure to post pics once the job is complete.

no problem hd2000. and welcome to the site btw. post pics/buildnumber when ya get a chance.
the hood is a cervini's hood (part #130) www.cervinis.com
I didn't buy it online so i wouldn't have to pay shipping because i picked it up myself since they are only a 1/2 hour away from me. did have to pay 20 some bucks tax, but still cheaper.
good luck

might put the unpainted hood on tomorrow if it ever stops raining so it can cure for the 5 days or so
