well i had frist brake down to day and it happend as my girlfrind was making a left turn at a light and it died right in the middle of the oncomming traffic i was at hone and it took me 15 min to get there and no one helped her push it out of the way so when i got the she stoped the cars and i pushed it out of the road . now shes at the world ford and wont be looked at untill tomorrow
the truck wil start and run at about 300 rpm and back fire and sputter and stall truck is stock and has 2,809 miles on it

 

gas... sounds like the gas. She didn't put diesel in it by mistake did she?

Oooooo...I wouldn't let the wife drive it without supervision if i were you Maybe she put something bad inside her (Like diesal or cheap 87 oct. gas) If she heard pinging or detonation would she be able to notice a problem and shut it down? Hope everything is OK and it's just a glitch in the ECU. Good Luck! Tell us outcome.

 

well guys i hate to say it but it is her every day driver i only get her on the weekends . good thing is my trip to work is all most 45 mils one way she works 1.5 miles and the truck is under coverd parking + she can not drive the stang as she sucks at driving stick. but i had to have this truck in my drivway so i talked her in to selling her car as i will never sell mine . i no i no i still make the payment and the ins. and gas

 

well it is the fule pump. and relay what would cause a fule pump to go bad that fast?

 

Man, I almost thought I had posted this About the same story as me with the truck, and me driving a Mustang GT, except it didn't take much to talk her into it as she loves HD stuff as her dad has recently got into HD. He has been a bikes nut all his life, and about 5 years ago bought a a Fat Boy and become sold on HD and the "club". Anyway, in about 9 months he will have a 100 Anna. two tone V-Rod sitting next to his Fat Boy.
