Thumbs down The Tweeters?

Gene,
No disrespect or anything but man the tweeters were a mistake. I was Head installer and then the manager of Dream Car South in Miami and I did all types of classes and seminars for car audio and electronics and the first thing you come to learn is that the whole idea is to keep the look as stock and clean as possible while achieving the best sound quality you can. We did the worlds IASCA Sound Quality 1st place Vette in 1998. You couldnt tell the car had any work done to it ( except the head unit) until you turn it on. We always said that the ricers and gangstas liked to display there **** and the classy guys liked to hear theirs. Youll see, in a couple of weeks your left ear will start going def and youll be stuck. I hope you didnt drill holes or anything to mount those. Tweeters dont last long and youll probably have to replace them a couple of times from cranking the radio up louder and louder because of your defing problem. GOOD LUCK with the rest of the system. Sorry if I seem Dic Kish. Im just funny when it comes to system stuff like that. Drop looks great though.

Db682, I don't mind your comments at all. Everyone has different tastes and I respect that. However, where where you when I was installing that crap?! :-) I know they're not good but, I have so much bass now, I needed to add some highs somehow. Anyway, I can pull them easily.

Sorry

Didnt mean to be an ***. I do that often though. If you need anything for your system let me know. Ive got so much sh it. Most of it is brand new. RCAs, Wires, Adapters, Harnesses, Connectors, all acc., Fuse blocks, Dist. Centers, gauges, Etc ETC etc. You name it I got it. It just sits around and gets no use any more. Let me know
