Here I am spending all this money on bells and whistles for my truck (most recent: drop kit, street scenes grill, chrome fuel door, new amplified sub, and I just ordered a flip down dvd player today), and now I'm getting that itch. The 02 HD and L are looking better and better. I may test the waters this weekend. I have an X-plan pin, so maybe...

I had the same thoughts about the 2002 but it was all out of my system after I took one for a test drive a couple of weeks ago. It still is a nice truck but nothing can compare to the one we already have. The added weight for the extra room in the back, the shorter box and the gas consumption (.70 cents a litre here)didn't sway me in the least. I still love my 2000 Harley.

And I have to agree, even though I have an 01, I think the 00's look best from the outside, the 02's have the best interior and engine.

 

yeah i agree that the 00's have the best looking exterior (but they are all awsome looking trucks) The flareside bed and tonneau just adds so much design to the truck. I like bits and pieces from each other harley, such as the windshield emblem, center caps, clear headlights, s/c, flame console, s/s pedals, keys, but i do not like the interior seats of the 02. I hate the gray inserts on the seats and doors. Ya never see HD cycles w/ gray leather seats, why put them in the truck? But all three years gotta be the 3 hottest trucks on the road.
