Post '02 Headlites

Haven't seen a new Ford - Harley in our area yet, and just curious if the headlights are different than the last two versions. Does anyone have the Ford Lightning headlights installed in their Harley Truck? Has anyone installed different bulbs that has that blue haze, you see in alot of foreign cars with them? Thanks

Hi,

The 02 HD headlights look just like the 01 lightning lights with the addition of a reflector strip near the bottom. Also you can use the 01 lightning lights (Front and Back) on the earlier HD's. Finally, I have used the euro blue light bulbs in both my 01 and 02.

After looking at several trucks, I have decided to insall the 01 Lightning Heqdlights & Corner Lights on my 00 HD Ford. I have a good repore with the local Ford dealer (I think). They quoted me $488.OO Total for both sets. This does not include the socket or bulbs. My question is this - What is the socket and what bulb should I use. Thanks!

You should be able to use your stock sockets and bulbs.
