Dodge...Please Read

I know you guys probably hate Dodge and think they're pieces or cr*p. But I was thinking about doing up a 02 Dodge Ram 1500. Im gonna take off all that ugly chrome highlighting and paint over it with black (the trucks will be black too).

Anyways, since this will be my first car, do you think that it would be better to get a F-150 Harley, 02 Dodge or maybe even a GMC Envoy 02. I will modify the Dodge and Envoy but leave the Harley pretty stock. Which would be the best deal? Ill probably be getting a car later in the year (2002)

I would recommend the Harley Davidson F-150. IMHO, the new Dodge Ram and GMC Envoy are ugly. I liked the '94-'01 Rams. They had a "mean" look to them and now with the new Rams they just look like a bloated overweight Dakota. I don't like their huge grill and giant headlights. I also don't like the new quad-cab. I liked it better when the quad cab looked like the club cab. I don't like the Envoy's headlights. It's overall design is questionable.

Btw, did you all know that Dodge is ending its partnership with Cummins? The German president is replacing it with a Mercedes diesel engine producing 190 base hp. Dodge will also be getting an Allison transmission.

No truck looks as good as the HD from the front. Check my sig, that is a good lookin truck. And you can get them with a factory sunroof. Don't think you can get that in the others. I had a Dodge. It was a very good truck, can't knock it. Good styling too. But they just don't make as good lookin a street truck as the Ford.

Sorry, but this isn't the place to be asking about the purchase of a Dodge.

I also heard somewhere that Ford owns a piece of Cummins (purchased after Dodge entered into their agreement)

As far as MB diesels, imagine a Dodge truck where the engine will last 1 million miles where the body, tranny and everything else only lasts 200,000.

I think you should get the 2002 in Black.(mostly because it has the Supercharger) but also the kick *** interior and the limited edition (will hold its value more than the others)

Spend a few hundred bucks on that baby and she will fly.
