2000 F150 Harley vs F150 Regular GCWR ?
I have a Ford F-150 Harley Davidson (2000) 2wd, V8 5.4 motor, automatic transmission and a rear axle radio of 3.73.
In the manual it indicates a “Maximum Trailer Weight” of 4,000 Lbs.(pounds); and other F-150 models with same specifications have a Maximum Trailer Weight of 8,700.
My question is if this is related with the Shock Absorber, Leaf Spring, Aluminum Drive Shaft of Transmission?

It comes equipped with the 260 horsepower Triton™ V-8 engine powering 20 X 9-inch, five-spoke cast aluminum wheels on P275/45R 20 Goodyear Eagle tires, the first ever 20-inch wheels on a Ford production vehicle. The Harley-Davidson F-150 is lowered one inch, with revised springs and sway bar, adding to the vehicle's brawny appearance.
*No it is not supercharged.
*4000# is because of the suspension modifications.

It's a mix.
My '99 F150 XL SCAB for example, had a 1 piece aluminum driveshaft.
My '07 F150 XL RC for example, has a 2 piece steel driveshaft.
I guess it depends on who they source their parts from. Haven't been able to figure it out.
I was at a lot one time, and noticed that the exact same config of a truck one had an aluminum and one had a steel 2 piece -- prices of the truck were exactly the same too on the window sticker.
