Tires.
Tires.
Hi
I was looking for some bigger tires for a variety of reasons. For one, the place where I live has a lot of potholes and such so with the rubber thats currently on there, your REALLY feel them and Im afraid that one day im gonna ruin one of my beutiful wheels.
I was thinking of getting Nitto's NT-440's but was wondering, is this any bigger than the ones that are already on the truck? What other tires are out there that are bigger but still give the truck its "tough" image?

Stay away from the Jap tires!! Harley Davidson & Ford = USA.
I was going to go with the 305/50/20 (31.89" x 12.28") We have 275/45/20 (29.7"x10.8") I also worried about the low profile tires after getting a flat after 600 miles & scuffing the rim. I purchased a set of 17" rims with a 285/60/17. I ended up selling them due to the looks & staying stock. These wheels are made for the Harley trucks. I think Ford should have made these 4WD with beefy tires. GoodYear does make the GTII in size 285/50/20 which is a litte larger and wider. Good luck!
