Hi...
I was thinking of geting a So-Cal suspension kit but now I think im going to go with airbag suspension. Its supposedly better than any dropped sespension in both handling and ride quality. I have only two questions about it though :
1) How much will the total kit cost not including install? This includes the batteries, air tank and the suspension itself...I know its pricy but i hear its definetly worth it.
2) Im really concerned about blowing an airbag. If this happens, it can really ruin the truck. Does this happen when cruising over bumpy roads? I use the truck as a cruiser and not a sports truck but I live in a pretty hilly area with a lot of potholes. Will I be a contendor for the popped airbag or does it only happen to people who really work the bags by racing it?

I am having a 4 Link system installed next week. This includes air bags on front and rear with two tanks and compressors. Will give me a 6" lift. Price of kit I am using thru dealer including tax is approx $3500.00 and approx $1500.00 to install. Hey HD2NV89, why are you messing with the suspension on the HD? why would you want the airbags to give you a 6 inch lift? why don't you just lower it, and leave the suspension as original as possible?

I have a Bell Tech 3/4 drop installed now, and as I have stated before "love the looks, hate the ride" The air suspension will still give me the low look I have now, but on rough roads I will be able to raise and smooth out the ride. I have no intention of raising 6" permanently. It will be possible to raise it or lower it in just a few seconds to a comfortable ride as needed. Most of the time it will remain LOW.
