Y2K H-D F-150 Supercharging

I know many of you ambitious souls have already installed a supercharger on your Y2K F-150. Many other forward thinking individuals are planning (plotting?) to install one on yours.

I like the Y2K version. The SuperCrew just doesn't fit my lifestyle (with the flip-up rear seat on the Y2K I can get the many dogs we travel with in the truck at the same time...don't ask)

I'd like to supercharge the Y2k; but I'm worried about $, reliability and engine life--and good installers. Could we get some input here. I've been reading articles; but many of them are just adverts for the product.

Input?

Well I would recomend maybe talking with Crash. He seems to know what he's talking about. I believe he sells ATI. You can find him in the Turbo and Supercharging Forums. I've also been told about the Holly "Thunder" Kit. Comes pretty much complete from what I'm told. Pretty pricy though.

I think know a days with all the computers controlling everythoing in the trucks and cars I don't think it will realy effect engine life much. Just get a chip made.

Maybe talk to Ford and see what they have to say.
