Post oil filter nightmare to get at

well did my own oil change today
saved myself at least £150 took me about 45 mins but that oil filtter is a right bastard to get at. first time ever done anything myself to a car next will be the fipk and chip when i get it shiped to uk

It's easier the second time. I changed the oil on a friends Expy first before doing my 2001. Turn the wheel all the way to the right and have the truck on level ground.

Yep, agree with Chuck98GT. It'll be easier next time, for sure. Glad you are doing some of your own maintenance, Brian! Makes one appreciate the truck all the more, imo. You're gonna love the fipk and chip, too!!!

well it is not nice when your wife tells you to do that and struggle like hell under the car with oil falling all over me and in the end chuck you make her out to be right
