Power Pulley's?
Are these worth the money? Do they give torque and HP? Just wonderin! Also wondering about the Poweraid?

HarleyBoy,
Don't use pully's if you're going to be towing or putting in a system (or anything else that will take up more juice from your alternator). Which PowerAid product are you talking about? The Throttle Body spacer? BlownHarley I'm not gonna be towing anything. And I don't figure I will be putting a system in it so what do ya think? Thanks for the advice!

They will make SOME hp increase...however it isnt going to be noticeable on a 2 ton truck https://www.f150online.com/f150board/smile.gif

Harleyboy,
Sure, it will give you a power increase, but as Jaxharley said, HP gain will be in the upper RPM spectrum (where it is virtually useless). You'd be better off spending the money you would use on the pulleys on something more usefull (As in twin 16" electric fans). Electric fans will do the same thing, but in a different way. You will lose the power-robbing clutch fan assembly. this will add between 7-15 HP in our applications (yet to be dyno'ed). How much are twin 16" fans?

There was a posting on using an electric fan from a late model Crown Vic, but I can't find it. Only problem with that is, no fans in the junkyards, everyone is using them on their trucks....Rube
