Question What's a good Bed Cover?

I just bought the first new vehicle I've ever owned. 2001 HD Edition Super Crew! This is the coolest Da!m truck I've ever laid eyes on, (That's a lie, you should see my 1968 Sunshine Red F-250, Camper Special, factory buckets, 360-2V, Eagle Alloys, etc.), but this truck is a close second. First of all, this thing isn't even close to being practical, we were going to buy a van! So, to get back to reality, I want a bed cover for storage of stuff. I'm looking at an A.R.E LSII cover with a wing. I haven't seen anything else that looks cool and you don't have to butcher the truck to get it on. Anyone have an opinion? Also, I'd like to switch immediately to Mobil 1. Any comments. Never had a new vehicle, so never considered synthetics.

Cool

If I were you I'd wait until the engine is broken in at around 3,000 miles before making the switch to synthetic. There are lots of opinions on this, but most feel that waiting until the rings, are set is the better option. That's my plan. Already have the Mobil 1 and filter ready to go, but am waiting for full break in.

As to tonneaus, I LOVE my Unicover tonneau. It is absolutely flawless in its clearcoat finish and fits like a glove. It is easily removed (does take two people as it is awkward and weighs about 125#) and there is no drilling, etc. to install the rails. It's great:

HarleyGuy and HarleyFan,
First of all, HarleyGuy, your truck looks awesome. I don't have any regrets having the Super crew, though. The wife and I haul around two little guys. I checked out the Unicover, which is a nice unit as you say, however, If I gotta knock Ford for something, it's putting the plastic over the rails. I don't like it. The A.R.E. cover hides it, and in my humble opinion looks better. HarleyFan, you have a picture? I'd post a picture of my truck(s) if I knew how to get 'em on here. Is there an easy way, or are you using HTML HarleyGuy? I never got into making webpages and writing HTML so I'd have to work to figure that out.

I'm looking for an item called a "Bed Extender." Saw it on one of those Sunday truck shows. It fits on the bed and you pull it out to reach all the items stowed way up front under the tonneau. Can't find it on the web for pricing. Seems like a good item when(ever)I get the Leer cover
