'member that no tonneau is coming unless your dealer faxes the request--it goes to Leer.
And, don't forget to call for the lockset if it didn't come with your truck

And, if your dealer doesn't understand then
they can call the 1-877-783-1537 number.

I've been dealing with a lady named Jennifer who is knowledgeable, helpful, and very pleasant to deal with.

 

My dealer had all the paperwork ready to be faxed when I picked up my new HD he was just waiting for me to get a customer number from FORD. They are on top of all the paperwork for this truck. Great dealership to do business with. But thanks for the info. Key lock also ordered.

Was the lock in the glove compartment still wrapped in plastic meant for the tonneau--or what else was it for? Also had a wiring harness in plastic stuck in there. The jacket is spiffy tho--leather sleeves would have been spiffier but the big logo on the back draws attention if the truck itself doesn't. Also got from the dealer 2 polar fleece zipups with the truck. With the upcoming tonneau offer for Cnd customers I've never heard of so much 'free' stuff with a purchase. Ford is making me feel better every day

 

casey k, that other harness package that was in my truck was for towing. The big plug converts the plug underneath the rear of the truck to the standard 4 pin plug most small trailers use. There are also some jumpers, etc. in there to install in your fusebox in case you want to run brakes and more stuff on big trailers.

Yes, that lock that's in the other package is for the tonneau cover. Leer will need it when and if you get yours made.

Hey all. Just got my HD F-150 today. Woo Hoo! But I do have questions. Please tell me what's the deal with the tonneau. My dealer says he knows nothing of it, or the dash ornament. And that certificate thingie and jacket is interesting too. Please help!!

There was a sticker on my truck saying it would come with the tonneau cover.

However you should normally get a letter in the mail from Ford.

This is the number for information on the letter in regards to the tonneau and jacket.

If you get yours before i get mine..im going to be pissed

I received my letter telling me how sorry Ford was that I didn't get the tonneau with my truck. It stated I would get a jacket to make me feel better until the tonneau is available.
I called the number and the person I spoke to was very helpful and cordial. Unfortunately they are out of size XL and I should expect it in maybe Feb/Mar.
I called the dealer about the cover and they were clueless. I filled out the form (I've had the truck since November and they had done nothing; but I was told they had....???. I'll be calling today to see if they faxed the form; but...
I've heard nothing about the certificate. That and the key chain look cool.
I managed to get an official HD F-150 pin (looks the the fender logo) given as a promo by Ford...will go on my MC vest.
Oh, according the plate on my truck it was manufactured in October, 2000.

I just came home from work to a great suprise...my jacket arrived. Ford if your readin' this, i'm impressed. It looks awesome. Now if they would just get the tonneau, certificate etc....
To think some people would rather drive a Chev. Hhhmmm

 

Mine came yesterday.
Made In Canada. Wool. Leather trim on pockets and collar. Logo on back and chest. In a "baseball jacket" style. Lined and very, very warm.

Kewl. Points for Ford.

Oh, mine wasn't promised until late February.

hey all trying to get back on line. lost the site since i got to florida in dec. {long story} still waiting for news on all my stuff, jacket,tonneau. picked up the vinyl tonneau in toronto and brought it to florida. tried to install last week {wrong one} great!!
