2004 HD is ugly!

There is nothing on this truck that appeals to the sports truck croud. I have always liked the f-150 HDs but this thing is an eyesore. I hope they go back to the f-150 soon because this 2004 beast is simply ugly! If someone gave one to me I would sell it before my friends saw it in my driveway. What is ford thinking This truck makes even a chevy look good.

Sport trucks don't have to be lowered. Lifted sport trucks are very hot right now. If you pick up any of the truck magazines, there is usually at least one lifted truck. The 04 HD would be a great platform to start with. Let's see, 6 inch lift, some 37 inch tires on 18's or 20's.....well, you get the idea.

I have to say I like the performance version F150 better. I still like the look of the new one (well, not the Halloween edition), but it's just an appearance package, nothing to special.

and I just assumed Ford did this to make it more Harley like... You know, priced out of the reach of anyone who might want one...

I went looking for a Harley bike last summer, but found no one willing to let me near one for less than $2000 over sticker, and the used ones were even more... I was looking for a Centennial Sportser...

You may want to try to find a '03 quick.. I don't know if they will ever go back to the F150 body.

The Harley super duty is the sweetest production truck in the history of ever. period. It's about time they put those seats in an actual truck (that means it has a tranfer case for you el camino drivers out there) I would really love to get one and lift it over some 38" tires or so. I hope next year they offer a supercharger for the v-10, dual rear wheels, and ALL orange. Yeah Baby, I Love the orange

The new HD's are nothing but seats, what makes the F150 HD's so badazz is the fact that they are performance vehicles. Not just a regular truck (Like the 04 HD's) that has nice seats. Heck Lariats have nice seats. So i think the new HD's are a waste of money. Just my $.02 though

No way. The Super Duty 4x4 is a totally different (better) truck than a dropped 2wd F-150. Can you think of an easier, cheaper vehicle to lift? REAL performance means getting through that bog, over that hill, etc. Plus it will haul way more than the lowrider supercrew. But yes, the most important part of this package is the seats.

Well, I'm happy with my El Camino, so I'll just leave 'em both alone... although the F150 version would be nice...

It also depends on your use for the truck, all I was saying is that I see the new harleys as not what they use to be. I use my 02 for traveling to from duty stations and show boating
