flat spot on hard acceleration

I have an '03 HD and it feels like I have a flat spot on hard acceleration. Does anyone else have or had the same problem? If so, what can I do to fix it?

Thanks.

what gear is it in? if it's near the top of third gear, it's probably the torque converter locking up..

Here's what it's doing. I'll be cruising at about 45 in OD and then step on the gas to pass someone. It'll downshift and as it revs up, I feel a flat spot before it shifts back into OD.

Any ideas?
