Question Fuel

I just traded in my 2000 HD for a 2002 HD Supercharged 3 weeks ago. I just now noticed that the 2002 HD Supercharged recommends Premium (91) gas. I was putting in regular unleaded. I want to know if this will hinder the performance of my truck and/or mess up the engine? Thanks.

Yes

You don't want any predetonation "pinging".

This is the lead cause of dead 5.4 SC engines, does wonders to rods. Pay the extra, I like to use the 93 octane appears to give me better gas millage.

Premium is a must

How do you like the new Truck? I did the same thing a little over a year ago. Traded a 200 HD for the 2002 HD. I could not belive the difference in power.
