RobG style ....



Painted the core black today. If you didn't know, this heat exchanger is a direct replacement for the stock unit ( the little radiator behind the lower bumper cover ) and is full aluminum construction. It's almost twice the stock capacity and does a much better job of cooling the intercooler than the stocker. I had the original test piece on my Lightning and the JDM unit proved itself on the street and at the track.

 

what did you paint the core with? that looks awesome!

will it affect the ability of the unit to cool?

I used a radiator specific paint from the Eastwood Co.
